HAVING A BABY?

Create a positive birth experience for the whole family. Rachel will provide you with help and guidance, as well as a listening ear throughout your pregnancy, at the birth and during the postnatal period if required.  She will also show you the appropriate sounds to make during contractions to facilitate the birth and provide natural pain relief.

Research has shown that having a doula present shortens labour and significantly reduces the need for pain relief or medical intervention. As your doula, Rachel will be there exclusively for you throughout the labour and birth, in fact until you feel happy for her to leave.

If this is your second child and the first birth wasn’t as you would have chosen, then give yourself this chance. If this is your first child, make the wise choice first time!

 

POST NATAL CARE

Enhance your experience of motherhood. Rachel can give practical help, both with baby and around the house if necessary. She offers guidance and company or will baby-sit while mum rests or takes time for herself. Flexible hours as required.

FEES

Birth doula service:-  From  £150 including antenatal visits.
Post natal doula service:- from £12 per hour.



Trained by Dr Michel Odent and based near East Grinstead, Sussex. Rachel is married to Dave and they have four children, three born naturally at home. She is also a sound therapist and reiki master running regular groups, workshops and one to one sessions teaching voice techniques as a tool for transformation and healing. Pregnancy is a wonderful time to liberate the voice and experience the benefits for both mother and unborn child.
